Description
Replacement cable (in good to fair condition) for model M keyboards where the cable is not externally detachable from the keyboard. This cable attaches directly inside the keyboard assemble to a 4-pin connector on the internal keyboard controller.
A common problem of the cheaper Made by Lexmark model M keyboards (1993, 1994, 1995) is cable rot or plastic deterioration/cracked plastic.
This known-good cable has gray electrical tape applied in two places to cover wire sheathing and is direct OEM replacement. Cable still has clear plastic packaging around the coiled part, but cable is old stock and technically not brand new.
Can be used for many model M keyboards made by Lexmark for IBM (such as 82G2383 and similar). Not the correct cable for 1391401 or 42H1292 keyboards.
