Designed when “real” typing on a quality keyboard was a required skill to use a $5000 IBM personal computer.
(pre-dates the then new mouse-click and graphical user interface operating system later to be known as Microsoft Windows 3.1 and 95)
condition Upper keyboard case and individual keys have been removed and fully cleaned by hand.
comments Essentially the same design, construction, and quality materials as the more common IBM model M 1391401 (works just like any other keyboard). Key caps were customed for Sabre Travel Network reservations systems for American Airlines. Has additional distinguishing labels printed in green on side of key caps (FLIFO = flight info), (TKT = ticket info), (GFAX, FONE, SEG, I-SAB, CLSVC, CSS, IAS, SOM, EMEM, EOP, EOL)
comments This keyboard is tested to work 100%. The keyboard assembly has been confirmed to be in functional, operational condition.  Any missing rivet points have been drilled-out and repaired with M2 screws to ensure intact base..
comments Has interesting model M keys with front and side labels (see photo 2, 3, 4, 5). Num lock feature of keyboard works, but LED does not illuminate (see photo 9). Case has some light markings in plastic near IBM logo (see photo 10)
