	Designed when "real" typing on a quality keyboard was a required skill to use a $5000 IBM personal computer. (pre-dates the then new mouse-click and graphical user interface operating system later to be known as Microsoft Windows 3.1 and 95)
comments	Keyboard is a 1391401 keyboard made in 1989 by IBM.  Has original IBM model M features of removable, SDL to ps/2 cable, two-piece key caps and key stems and multi-color printing on key caps (green lettering on Alt keys, secondary gray lettering on numeric keypad keys).  The majority of 1987 - 1992 keyboards with part number 1391401 had a black and white IBM logo label.  This 1989 model M 1391401 keyboard has a blue label.   see other previous blue label 1989 1391401 keyboards with blue logos. A brand new 1989 keyboard that has never seen the light of day for 21 years. Has been in storage in original cardboard box with styrofoam packaging. Boxes may have been opened for product photography and to inventory and for testing to confirm new, unused condition.  Exterior box has some pen writing and is missing exterior IBM paper tag with matching interior serial number
