	Designed when "real" typing on a quality keyboard was a required skill to use a $5000 IBM personal computer. (pre-dates the then new mouse-click and graphical user interface operating system later to be known as Microsoft Windows 3.1 and 95)
comments	Keyboard is a 1391401 keyboard made in 1994, but is an atypical model made by IBM Mexico.  Similar in construction to later made by IBM by Lexmark keyboards (52G9658, 52G9700, 82G2383) with integrated drainage channels and internal wiring typical of later Lexmark model M keyboards, but additional original IBM features of removeable, extra long SDL to ps/2 cable, two-piece key caps and key stems and multi-color printing on key caps. A brand new 1994 keyboard that has never seen the light of day for 15 years. Has been in storage in original cardboard box with styrofoam packaging. Boxes may have been opened for product photography and to inventory and to confirm new, unused condition.
