keyboard in rare 1987 IBM original box. Keyboard appears in almost perfect condition, but we do think that it may have been lightly used, then put into storage in original box. Exterior plastic is shiny, but some dust appears on inside surfaces. Exterior box shows that this is for an IBM model 50 ps/2 computer (1987 vintage) part # 90X9473

An almost new 1987 keyboard that has never seen the light of day for 18 years (We would like to say that it is brand new.. but to be honest, we are not sure and cannot certify this keyboard is factory new). Keyboard has been in styrofoam package, inside original cardboard box. Exterior box in good condition (some writing marks).. but keyboard inside is almost brand new and tested 100% functional.

According to exterior box, cardboard box is made by IBM (Mexico), but according to label on back of keyboard, keyboard is IBM, Made in the United States.

Other rare features, metal rear plate of keyboard is blue-green shiny metal (steel?) (as opposed to standard silver steel plate), LED connections are 4 yellow wires (as opposed to embedded plastic connectors), screws are blue-titanium color (as opposed to standard yellow steel), stabilizing bars under three keys (numeric keypad "+ key" and numeric keypad "enter key" and spacebar (as opposed to only the space bar in later 1391401 keyboards)
