keyboard has been tested to work 100% on both an original IBM XT and on a modern PC with the appropriate converters.

XT keyboard cannot be interfaced or adapted to work with modern ps/2 PC without use of custom XT to AT signal converter.
Upper keyboard case and individual keys have been removed and fully cleaned by hand.

Item includes original box in good condition. Keyboard is not new.. but appears to have been stored in original box since early 1980s. Has four original cork pads on bottom of keyboard. Includes IBM instruction manual.
